Small floor torcheries - This one is best placed beside the sofa or armchair, which creates the illusion of having a larger space than actual.

Along with your lighting style choice, you should also take into consideration the actual bulb. With the vast array of choices on the market today you should at minimum, choose the proper one for the task the light will perform.
